 European Institute for Gender Equality

The European Institute for Gender Equality, which operates autonomously within the framework of European Union policies and initiatives, collects, analyses and disseminates data and information on gender equality issues. Its aim is to promote gender equality in Europe by providing high-level information and expertise to enable informed decision-making on gender equality issues. Of particular relevance are its Toolkits, or toolsets for implementing its recommendations.

 Gender Equality in Academia and Research - GEAR tool

Among the Toolkits of the European Institute for Gender Equality is GEARtool (Gender Equality in Academia and Research), a tool that provides advice and recommendations for universities and research centres to make the institutional change involved in incorporating an equality plan effective and to evaluate its impact.

Tools and Resources on Gender–Sensitive Teaching Methods in Higher Education

Within this same project we also find a guide with proposals for a more gender-sensitive methodology to be implemented at the university.

Baltic Gender project. Baltic Consortium on Promoting Gender Equality in Marine Research Organisations.
